Image Thinking Theory-Oriented Screenwriting Pedagogy in the AI Era
-
Abstract
Content creation and education are being fundamentally transformed by AI.This paper examines how image thinking can facilitate the reconstruction of screenwriting pedagogy in the AI era, proposing a three-stage teaching pathway: multimodal input triggering, perceptual construction, and narrative output. This pathway transitions from linear language-based construction to multi-channel narrative guidance driven by image thinking, effectively stimulating students' audiovisual imagination and emotional narrative potential. From both theoretical and practical perspectives, it provides guidance for multi-level integration of psychological cognition and narrative expression. The conclusion extends the application of this pathway to dimensions such as creative writing and identifies opportunities for progressive refinement of human-AI collaborative creation mechanisms.
